TC-5

The TesiraCONNECT TC-5 is an AVB-capable PoE+ five-port room expansion device designed to connect Biamp AVB equipment in small conference systems. Four ports provide PoE+ with no power budget restrictions. The TesiraCONNECT eliminates the need for third-party switches and provides power and media streaming to each Biamp device via category cable. The TesiraCONNECT is designed to work out of the box without any user configuration required.

Up to four TesiraConnect devices may be connected in daisy chain or star topology to support additional Tesira devices. See the TesiraCONNECT section of System Limits and TesiraCONNECT Wiring Topologies for information.

The TesiraCONNECT may be mounted under a table with the optional mounting bracket, in a credenza, a plenum space, or anywhere that is convenient to accommodate room design.

• All ports provide AVB media streaming, daisy chaining and RSTP support. Only ports 2-4 provide PoE+

 

 

Port 1 connects to a TesiraFORTE or Server device. Ports 2 through 4 are PoE+ and connect to Biamp equipment for media streaming and daisy chain.

 

TC-5D

TesiraCONNECT™ TC-5D serves as the central connection point for all Biamp® and Dante™ devices in a conference room. It simplifies installations by providing power and media over a single category cable between devices such as Tesira AVB DSPs, USB extenders, PoE+ amplifiers and microphones as well as 3rd party Dante devices.
