Expander Hardware devices are designed for use with Tesira SERVER, SERVER-IO and TesiraFORTÉ AVB devices.
Expander Audio Hardware must be used with AVB enabled hardware. Server or Server I/O devices must be fitted with the AVB-1 Server card and TesiraFORTÉ devices must be the AVB capable devices.
Expander control hardware can be used with all Tesira SERVER, SERVER-IO, TesiraFORTÉ, IDH-1 and OH-1 devices. As the Control network is used, AVB capable devices are not required.
The Tesira EX-UBT is a USB and Bluetooth interface used to connect 3rd party devices to a Tesira AVB network.
The AMP-450P Plenum-Mount Amplifier exhibits characteristics of both an Expander and Amplifier-class device, yet will appear under Tesira Amplifiers in the hardware section for practical purposes: Tesira Amplifiers - Plenum Mount
The Parlé Microphones are also unique in that they exhibit characteristics of an audio expander yet are more intuitively identified as a microphone (TCM-1/TCM-1EX/TCM-X/TCM-XEX) or an amplifier and microphone (TCM-1A/TCM-XA/TTM-X). For practical purposes the TCM-1/TCM-1A/TCM-1EX/TCM-X//TCM-XA/TCM-XEX/TTM-X/TTM-XEX will appear under microphones in the hardware section: Parlé Microphones
