The Tesira HD-1 is a dialer for Tesira server-class devices. This control interface provides access to all of the dialing functions of Tesira, with the look and feel of a traditional telephone dial pad. The Tesira HD-1 makes installations less expensive, easier to commission, and less complicated to operate. The HD-1 is compatible with Tesira SERVER and SERVER-IO with STC-2 or SVC-2 cards installed, as well as the following TesiraFORTÉ models:

Keypad functions are intuitive and are similar to that of a standard enterprise telephone. Main screen soft button functions may be set and labeled in Tesira software as well as assigning speed dial entries.
To add speed dial entries to the directory, do the steps that follow:
To delete a speed dial entry from the directory, do the steps that follow:
Contact names will only appear in all caps when entered from the hardware. Information (to include changing letters to lowercase) may be edited from Tesira software as desired - see HD-1 Component Objects for instructions on setting entries in the software.
To make a call, enter the desired number and push the Off Hook button.
To make a call from the Speed Dial Directory, do the steps that follow:
Tesira software allows assigning logic functions and labels (not to exceed five characters) to seven soft button keys that will be available when on the main HD-1 screen.
Pressing the soft button will generate a pulse to triggers logic actions as designed by the user. See below for examples of the software entries reflected on the HD-1 screen:

The local number, or any text (up to 18 characters) may be entered in Tesira software to be displayed on the main HD-1 screen.
Soft buttons may be assigned new labels while the system is connected.
