FORTÉ X (400/800/1600)

The TesiraFORTÉ X Component objects add input and output blocks associated with a FORTÉ X hardware device:

Initialization Dialog

Name	Description
AEC Ref Mode	Determines how the AEC Reference block will be displayed and operate Single Channel - one common reference point for all channels. Single Channel with pass-through - one common reference point for all channels plus an output node for the AEC Ref signal to be passed through. Typically placed in-line with the room output so as the room level increases/decreases, the signal going to the reference increases/decreases proportionately. If this output node is left unterminated, the AEC inputs and subsequent processing objects will be seen as an incomplete signal path and ignored by the Compiler. Per channel - a separate reference point for each channel of AEC. Typically used for mix-minus referencing.
Preconfigure for Beamtracking Mics	Optimizes AEC settings for use with Beamtracking microphones.
Use VoIP	Enables VoIP and allows for specific region selection. Logic nodes may also be enabled.
Use USB	Opens the USB X Channel Initialization dialog.

The TesiraFORTÉ X will add the following default component objects:

• 1x Input 2 Channel

• 1x Output 2 Channel

• 1x AEC 4 Channel

• 1x AEC Reference

• 1x VoIP Receive 1 Channel

• 1x VoIP Transmit 1 Channel

• 1x VoIP Control/Status

Optional:

• USB I/O Blocks - depending on the initialization settings a USB Input and USB Output block will be added. See the USB X section for more details.
• Beamtracking Mics - if "Preconfigure for Beamtracking Mics" is selected, AEC settings will be optimized for Beamtracking microphones. "BT" in the lower right corner of the AEC block indicates this selection.

NOTE: Beamtracking defaults may be reset from the context menu of the AEC block by right-clicking and selecting "Reset to Beamtracking Defaults."

Default Configuration

The TesiraFORTÉ X is ready to deploy out-of-the-box (or after factory reset) with an automated configuration. The TesiraFORTÉ X will detect connected Biamp devices and optimize the system to the room conditions after pushing the Launch button. Before launching, be sure to set the Target Sound Pressure Level (SPL) and choose the UC Vendor from the drop-down menu.

To use the more advanced and customization options of the TesiraFORTÉ X, users must first clear the automated configuration from Device Maintenance in the Tesira software.
