TEC-X 2000

The TEC-X 2000 AV controls provide simple, intuitive interfaces for presentation spaces and conference rooms via highly intuitive capacitive touch capabilities, delivered at the price of a keypad controller. Equipped with an LCD, all TEC-X models are PoE powered, wall-mountable, and may be daisy chained with up to four devices. In addition, the TEC-X 2000 supports all TTP commands and can be quickly programmed and customized within Tesira software as the needs of the room change over time.

TEC-X LCD

The TEC-X devices include a touch-screen color LCD at the front panel. This section shows the display screen behaviors depending on the current state of the device.

 

Initial Power-On/Reset

Displays a Splash Screen with the Biamp log and product name:

 

 

 

Waiting for Configuration

Displays the Device Name, Hostname, Device ID, IP Address, Firmware Version and MAC Address:

 

 

 

Device is Configured and Active

Displays the text for each button that describes the action:

 

 

 

User Interacting with a Button

User Interacting with Level Control (touch or rotary)

Displays a gradient graphic at the top of the screen that increases/decreases based on the rotation direction or up/down button press:

TEC-X Device Locate is Active

The display shows the map location icon while the LED bar at the top of the device flashes green at one second intervals. Locate may only be initiated from the Tesira software:

 

 

TEC-X has an Internal/External Fault

The display shows a triangle with an exclamation point and a fault message:
