HD-1

The Tesira HD-1 is a dialer for Tesira server-class devices. This control interface provides access to all of the dialing functions of Tesira, with the look and feel of a traditional telephone dial pad. The Tesira HD-1 makes installations less expensive, easier to commission, and less complicated to operate. The HD-1 is compatible with Tesira SERVER and SERVER-IO with STC-2 or SVC-2 cards installed, as well as the following TesiraFORTÉ models:

Keypad Functions

Keypad functions are intuitive and are similar to that of a standard enterprise telephone. Main screen soft button functions may be set and labeled in Tesira software as well as assigning speed dial entries.

Speed Dial Entries

To add speed dial entries to the directory, do the steps that follow:

  1. Push the Directory/Speed Dial button.
  2. If no speed dial entries have been previously entered, the directory screen will be blank. Push the context button under Add.
  3. Enter the contact number and push the context button under Next
  4. Enter the contact name and push the context button under Save to save the entry.

To delete a speed dial entry from the directory, do the steps that follow:

  1. Navigate to the entry to be deleted and push the Details Context button.
  2. Push the Delete soft button.
  3. The next screen will ask you to confirm that you wish to delete the entry.

Contact names will only appear in all caps when entered from the hardware. Information (to include changing letters to lowercase) may be edited from Tesira software as desired - see HD-1 Component Objects for instructions on setting entries in the software.

Making Calls

To make a call, enter the desired number and push the Off Hook button.

To make a call from the Speed Dial Directory, do the steps that follow:

  1. Push the Directory/Speed Dial button.
  2. Navigate to the desired entry and press the Select button.
  3. The call will be initiated.
  4. Push On Hook at any time to disconnect the call.

Soft Button Logic

Tesira software allows assigning logic functions and labels (not to exceed five characters) to seven soft button keys that will be available when on the main HD-1 screen.

Pressing the soft button will generate a pulse to triggers logic actions as designed by the user. See below for examples of the software entries reflected on the HD-1 screen:
